MenuYa Terms of Use
Last updated: October 1, 2026
These terms apply to the MenuYa app and to the web menus it publishes (the "Service"), which are provided by Nante Studio ("we"). By using the Service you agree to them. On iOS they supplement Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; if the two conflict, Apple's agreement controls for your use of the app.
1. The Service
MenuYa lets a restaurant owner photograph a printed menu, review an AI-generated draft, publish it as a web menu with a QR code, and keep it current with edits and an AI assistant. Guests view the published menu in a web browser without an app or an account. You can start without signing in; Sign in with Apple is optional.
2. Your content and your responsibility
You own the menus, photos, logos and text you add. You give us a licence to store, process and display them to operate the Service, including publishing the menus you choose to publish at their public address. You are responsible for what you publish and for having the right to use it, and for the accuracy of names, prices, ingredients, dietary tags and allergen information shown to your guests. AI output can be wrong: review it before you publish. We are not responsible for decisions your guests make from your menu.
3. Acceptable use
Do not publish unlawful, deceptive, infringing or harmful content, do not misuse the AI features or try to bypass limits, and do not interfere with the Service or other people's access to it. We may unpublish content or suspend an account that breaks these terms.
4. Free plan and ads
The Free plan is supported by ads shown inside the owner app, with limits on restaurants, menus, live menus, languages, scans and AI messages. Ads never appear on the public web menu. On Free, the public menu shows a small "Made with MenuYa" link. Current limits are shown in the app.
5. MenuYa Pro subscription
MenuYa Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly. It removes ads and the "Made with MenuYa" link and unlocks higher limits and Pro features described in the app. The price for your region is shown in the app before you subscribe.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the then-current price for your region.
- Manage or cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your MenuYa account does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. We do not receive your payment details.
- We verify your subscription with Apple through our purchase service to turn Pro on or off for your account. You can restore a purchase from the app.
- When a subscription ends, nothing is deleted. Your menus stay saved and the Free limits apply again: restaurants and menus beyond the Free limits stop being shown publicly until you subscribe again or reduce them, and Pro-only features pause.
6. Public menu address
Each restaurant has a link name that forms its public address. We may change or reclaim an address that is unlawful, misleading or infringing. If you change your link name, the old one redirects to the new one.
7. Changes and availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue features, limits and prices. A price change for a subscription takes effect at renewal as required by Apple's rules. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error free.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account in the app under Settings, which removes your restaurants, menus, photos, chats and sign-in account from our servers. See the privacy policy for details.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nante Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
10. Apple
These terms are between you and Nante Studio, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live. Questions:
